Rigging Qualification Requirements Of Subpart CC

According to 29 CFR 1926.1401, 1926.1404, and 1926.1425, there are rigging qualification requirements for Subpart CC Cranes and Derricks in Construction. On November 8, 2010, this came into effect.

A rigger who satisfies the requirements for a qualification is referred to as a qualified rigger. Companies must determine a person's suitability to carry out particular rigging tasks. Different certified riggers may have varying degrees of education or work history.
